Now we enter South Carolina to visit the beaches of Myrtle Beach area for the first time. Here we stayed at the Barefoot RV Resort. This was located next to the larger Barefoot Resort and Barefoot Landing where we spent much of our time. Barefoot Landing has shopping, restaurants, and live entertainment to keep us busy. Also located at the Landing was the Alabama Theatre and the House of Blues Myrtle Beach to provide an extensive selection of quality live entertainment in addition to the stage by the lake.

While we were here, we rented a golf cart for a week to get us around for the first time. This place was very golf cart friendly, so we could ride it to ride to beach and to the Landing and the grocery store. This is a photo of the beach we visited many times. They had many public access lots we could use for an hourly fee (yes, even with a golf cart!). Since we were having fun cruising around mostly in the cart, we didn't ride our bikes as much as we should have while were here.

Barefoot Landing had this outdoor bar called Tortuga Island that was part of the Crooked Hammock Brewery sitting in the middle of the lake with water views from all sides. If you sat at the bar, you could sit in one of the swings they had available.

This is a view from the Landshark Bar & Grill, part of the Jimmy Buffet franchise where we enjoyed happy hour and dinner while at the Landing. This was a shorter post, but we enjoyed our time here and would plan better to see one of the many live entertainment acts next time we visit. Now we are off to see more SC beaches.
