In southern IA this time, we rode across the state in the 51st annual with fantastic weather this time. The crowds we also back to normal following the 50th anniversary last year, so lines were shorter and roads less crowded.

RAGBRAI hosts riders of every kind including this person on a penny-farthing. We even saw someone who rode the whole ride backwards on a BMX bike.

We proudly displayed our Tipsy Terps gear throughout the ride.

On day 2, our friend Cathy joined us for a night of live music and day of riding.

The town of Lewis was being patriotic by displaying a huge flag. All of these towns along the way try to outdo each other with food, activities, live music, and have some theme that represents their community.

On day 3, one of the towns (Greenfield) along the way had just experienced an F4 tornado just a few weeks prior, but decided to still host the RAGBRAI riders as they passed through town. We made sure to donate some cash to the relief effort. There was just dirt in many places where houses once stood.

Michelle got a chance to hobnob with a US Senator. Senator Joni Ernst is from Red Oak and was volunteering to sell beer garden tickets the day we overnighted there.

RAGBRAI can be a real logistical challenge. Here we show the full team with our support team members Diane and Zack. Many thanks to you two for helping us out this year!

Here again we take in some live music in Winterset where we stayed the night.

The night before our last ride, we listened to more live music in Mt. Pleasant.

Here arriving in the last town of the ride. Michelle is there on the left. 2024 was a great year for RAGBRAI!
