After the GAP Trail in PA, we moved over to OH to ride the another HoF Rail Trail, the Little Miami Trail. We stayed at the Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA Holiday which was located just west of the trail. This fully paved trail was almost 80 miles long, so we we decided to ride in 4 rides of about 40 miles each time in out and backs.

This trail was a "biking and beer drinkers dream!". I think we were able to stop for beers in at least three places right off the trail on each day if we wanted. We did make it a challenge to see if we could!

Like I said, this trail was fully paved which was a nice change from riding gravel trails for the last month.

This is another trail with deep history to include even Abraham Lincoln in its past.

On Day 1 we rode (35 mi) the southern end of the trail from Loveland to the regional airport and back. On the way back we stopped to sample beers at Fifty West Brewing Company, Little Miami Brewing Company, and the Miami Trailyard.

On day 2 we rode 42 miles from Oregonia to Loveland. This day we stopped at the Narrow Path Brewing Co. first in Loveland.

We also stopped at the Monkey Bar & Grill that had nice patio seating right on the river.

Our last stop was at Cartridge Brewing which was housed inside an old gun powder and ammunition factory.

On day 3 we rode from Oregonia to Xenia (40 mi) out and back. Here we stopped across from an old building that must have had some purpose at some time with the railroad.

In Xenia, there is a park and restored station to show where this trail was originally started that headed south to Cincinnati.

We ended our ride at the Little River Bar & Grill which was located next door to the trailhead parking lot.

On our last day we rode from Xenia to Springfield and back (34 mi). Here we stopped at the very busy Yellow Springs Brewery on the way back.

This trail didn't have quite as many trestles as previous recent trails, but the scenery was very nice. Now we continue our move west to ride more trails in Indiana.
