Lady Lake/The Villages, FL (12/20 - 1/3/24)

Moving back a little farther north in central Florida, we stayed near family for the holidays in the The Villages. We also traveled to Jackson, MS for my niece Morgan's wedding on New Year's Eve. Morgan is my sister Tricia's daughter.

The wedding was a fancy event on New Years Eve at a wedding venue north of Jackson. Zack & Beka and Kyle & Jobi were able to come down to Jackson to see the whole family gathered here.

The week before the wedding, we spent Christmas in The Villages with my stepdad Ron and Mom. We were also joined by my stepsis Cindy and her husband Kurt. Here we attended a Christmas Eve service in the Villages Everglades Recreation Center.

We rode 35 miles one nice day on the Seminole Wekiva Trail that is in northern Orlando and stopped into the Orange County Brewers & Tin & Taco for a break. Orlando has a really good trail system on the north side.

After a ride through the Villages on many of the multi-use trails, we stopped to see some live entertainment at Edna's on the Green. Mom and Ron joined us too (for Edna's, not the ride)!
